About Us

Since 2001, Tradewind has operated on the premise that every flight deserves the highest quality aircraft, crew, and service.

Our Story

Founded by aviation enthusiasts in 2001, Tradewind provides personal air travel—both private and scheduled service—throughout North America and the Caribbean. Tradewind is headquartered in Oxford, Connecticut with operational bases at Westchester County Airport in New York, Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in Puerto Rico, and Witham Field in Stuart, Florida.

With a fleet of 30+ Pilatus PC-12s, Tradewind is the market leader in regional air mobility, servicing luxury destinations such as Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, St Barths, Virgin Gorda, Tortola, Anguilla, and the Bahamas.

Scheduled flights offer the comfort and convenience of a private charter for the cost of a single seat. In the Northeast, scheduled flights are operated from the New York area to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Flights depart from private FBO terminals, providing efficient and seamless travel to our guests’ destinations. In the Caribbean, scheduled flights are operated between San Juan, St Barths, Anguilla, Antigua, Virgin Gorda, Tortola, and St Thomas. In the Southeast, scheduled flights are operated from Stuart, Florida, to Marsh Harbour, North Eleuthera, and Nassau, and from Fort Lauderdale to Marsh Harbour and North Eleuthera.

Private service is operated in our fleet of Pilatus PC-12s, allowing guests to have control over their travel experience and fly on their own time. Our fleet allows guests to land at airports closer to their final destination, allowing them to maximize time doing what they love. Our client service team is happy to assist with every step of the journey, including custom catering, ground transportation, and more.

We would welcome the opportunity to provide our personal level of service for your next journey. Feel free to contact us at any time to discuss your travel needs. We look forward to talking to you and welcoming you aboard!
